POSITION: Global product management has a key role in the company initiating and (co-)leading all aspects of portfolio management, including chairing the product teams in which multidisciplinary teams (Sales, R&D, SC, finance, marketing) optimise the performance of our crop portfolios towards our customers while ensuring also profitable growth as well in market share as marketgrowth..A wide spectrum of tasks is included in the role:
- Analysis and reporting on market (trends)
- Translation of market trends into tangible actions with product team
- Developing of breeding strategy
- Global trial plan & data collection
- Go to market plan per crop and product proposition
- Adherence to regulations (incl PBRs etc)
- Manage product life cycle
- Manage portfolio
- Lead pricing together with sales
- S&OP: validate long term forecast and contribute to sourcing and infrastructure decision
- Licensing in and out negotiations
The Director Global Product Management leads the ~10 GPM across different crops to ensure:
- Optimal performance of product teams
- Challenging analytics for optimising portfolio performance (incl. clear profitable growth targets)
- Further professionalising the GPM function
- People and team development

REQUIRED Leadership. Master’s degree in horticulture , plant/life Science, business or equivalent. At least ten years commercial experience in Horticulture, Vegetables or Pharmacy
